2016 Sphinx AC Coombe 8
The 2016 Sphinx AC Coombe 8 was held on Sunday 20 November. Conditions were reasonable, if a little on the cold side. The course has to change slightly year-on-year as Coombe Country Park is a working estate. This year’s course was measured at 8.0 miles and took in maintained grass, open field, woodland trail, a short stretch of tarmac and some sections of undergrowth.

The main winners were: Men: Kev Hope from Kenilworth Runners, finishing in a time of 47:28 Women: Eleanor Fowler from Nuneaton Harriers, finishing in a time of 51:56 The men’s team prize was taken by Spa Striders, and the Ladies’ team prize was won by Spa Striders. Full results can be found here:
