Andy Wilkinson and Paul Slatford made the trip to Bushy parkrun, the original, to join the 10th anniversary parkrun celebrations.
Elizabeth Foxall, Louise Foxall and Catherine Gough did very well in these multi-discipline events.
This Saturday sees the 10th anniversary of the very first Park Run which took place on the 2nd October 2004 at Bushy Park.
Andy Wilkinson and Paul Slatford are going to Bushy Park this Saturday to join in the celebrations and are inviting anyone who wishes to join them.
5 Sphinx runners completed this sprint triathlon, swimming 400m then cycling 23km and finally running 5km.
3 Sphinx runners completed this popular half-marathon, with Dave West describing it as follows:
It was a well organised event, several thousand people running it and thousands of people around the course supporting. The route was interesting, especially the bit through an industrial estate and running under the M1, it was fairly flat though!
Mitch and Jackie Timms ran the parkrun with the slowest results service 😉
In spite of this Jackie made an excellent parkrun comeback and Mitch ran a course PB (2nd fastest 5k time of his life).
A win at Coventry for Ashley Miles, 3rd and a PB at Shrewbury for Andy Wilkinson, PBs for Pete Hall, Adam Walmsley, Jane Edwards, Steven Osmond, Mark Moran, Laura Pibworth-Dolinski, Fiona Quinn, Billie Spawton, and Andrew Hales.
