Sphinx AC were represented at a number of ParkRun events this weekend Coventry 23 Sphinx AC runners/family/friends ran this weekend, with no first-timers and 2 well-deserved PBs. Colin Piper took six seconds off his PB, and Maren Atkinson recorded her 3rd PB of the year. Sphinx AC were represented at a number of ParkRun events this weekend, with some members helping out at Coventry in particular due to the half marathon on the Sunday. Coventry With it being Coventry half marathon the next day, there were just 23 Sphinx AC runners/family/friends running this weekend, with no first-timers and 3 PBs – one of which was by Steven Osmond, who went on to PB at Coventry half marathon too!

Four Sphinx AC runners took part in this half marathon in Grantham, with Steve Colbourne winning first-in category. In fact, all Sphinx runners finished in the top 12 of their respective categories – a very nice result indeed. Conditions were dry and bright again, but a moderate headwind in the more exposed stretches of the course made it tougher than normal.
