Thirteen Sphinx AC runners (including our perpetual guest) ran today, with FIVE PBs and four first-timers. In her maiden ParkRun appearance, Lucy Smith took first lady position, an incredible achievement. PB-smashing was by significant amounts today; Mike Wall completely demolished his PB by an amazing 23 seconds, Pete Hall took 16 seconds off his and Mitch Timms knocked 11 seconds off his. Nick Gilkes and Joseph Gilkes also ran but don’t appear in the official results – I’m not sure that they were registered before the results were posted.
