There as no Coventry ParkRun this weekend due to the Godiva Festival. Two Sphinx AC runners made the journey over to Leamington ParkRun to satisfy their craving. Glowing reviews of the Sphinx AC Summer 5 and the cakes!

One thing is for sure – runners love cakes! We’ve received some great feedback from runners since the Sphinx AC Summer 5 – all of it praising the marshals and the organisation. Naturally, we’re very pleased to hear that kind of feedback as a lot of effort went into putting it all together. However, if one thing stands out more than anything else, it’s the consistent references to the cakes that we put on!

Results for Malvern Midsummer Marathon, 25-Jun-2011

Kevin Naughton and Trevor Clarke represented Sphinx AC in a very hilly off-road marathon. In Kevin’s own words: A 26.2 mile route which takes in the whole range of the Malvern Hills. Steep ascent/descent made for difficult going in the final stages from mile 19. Seemed to be more ascent than descent! Completed in a time of 6.
