5 Sphinx AC runners made the trip to Brackley in Northamptonshire to run this friendly 10K race. A mixture of road and trail, a disused airfield (with an extensive range of pot-holes), a couple of steep climbs and the quaint village of Turweston makes this one of the more interesting events of the race calendar. A very well-organised and well marshalled out and back course with a technical T-shirt and goody bag offered excellent value for money (and nothing extra to enter on the day). Ash finished 2nd and first M40 in a quality time of 35:27. The rest of us just turned up and had a nice run-out in the sunshine.
