Ian Cunningham PB’d at Coventry, where Paul Slatford notched another top 5 finish.
The Cozens went to Chichester parkrun, where Jamie made his first appearance and Paul and Julie recorded PBs.
Alex Bartlett went to Northala Fields parkrun and finished in the top 10 with a PB.

The Buxton Half-Marathon, one of the most scenic and picturesque half-marathons you are ever likely to do – allegedly! Don’t know who the random guy is in the photo, but it gives you an indication of what a glorious day it was NOT!
Andy Wilkinson and Sue Gough completed this 400m swim, 20k cycle and 5k run. It was Sue’s first try at tri, and Andy was quicker than last year.
Monika Ciezarek enjoyed this challenging course and finished in 27th place.
22 Sphinx AC runners/family/friends ran this weekend, with 2 first-timers and 4 PBs.
The PBs were achieved by Kevin Dick, Jonathan Dowds and Lucy Marchi at Coventry, and Wayne Broadbent at Leamington.
David West and Steven Osmond made their debuts at Worcester and Gorleston Cliffs respectively.
5 Sphinx runners took on the Blisworth 5 in the Northamptonshire countryside in almost perfect running conditions. Despite a slight navigational delay en route (and this time no blame can be attached to Andrejs, can it Rob?) we arrived in good time to distribute Summer 5 fliers (there’s club loyalty for you Bergs).
Course debuts for Andrejs and Jamie, the former again achieving a top 10 finish (without the aid of a lift) in a fantastic time of 28:26.
Pride of place went to Mary Bench though, who achieved yet another PB, 41 minutes exactly.

Quad kids is a mini athletics completion open to school years 3 to 7. There are 3 meetings at Rugby, Nuneaton and Godiva (Coventry)
4 of our juniors took part on a cold wet night and despite the conditions managed to put in some good performances (results below). Well done all.

Dave Kelly just pipped Steve on the finishing line of this marathon and described it as:
A beautiful, tough, undulating run around Lake Windermere. Lovely conditions for the run and the rain kept off until we got back to the pub.
