Dorota completed this multi-discipline event, finishing 3rd in her category.
Dorota was the 6th place women and 4th in her category.
Jackie and Chris have provided the following report:
Another fine night with 41 runners, which included 1 junior and 5 guests.
First over the line was Dean Warner, one of our guests, followed 2 minutes later by Bobby Hartwell, a newer member. Fastest run of the day was by Allen El-Sour. Phil Wilson and Rachael Allen were closest to their estimated times.
The last of the summer handicaps is on 25th September at the Greenway, but don’t forget there is the chance to win the half-marathon handicap trophy by running the Kenilworth half on September 4th.
James Abrams ran this half-marathon, finishing 2nd in his category, and described it as:
a lovely shaded half marathon through the wood on lanes,few inclines to test and a great t shirt and medal if you into those aswell as chasing PBs!missed mine by 15sec with a time of 1hr 33min 15sec
Lisa Abbott and Vickie Hand completed this 10k race around the perimeter of Draycote Water.
No PBs this week but a couple of first-times: Alex Bartlett at Reigate Priory and Andy Hales at Leicester Victoria.
5 Sphinx runners completed this scenic but tough 10k. James described it as:
Think the hardest 10k around never seems flat anywhere!
3 Sphinx runners completed thisĀ 6 mile course that takes you on an undulating two-lap route around the beautiful village of Hook Norton.
Well done to Lucy Wheatley, Vicky Hand, Lore Paterson and Alex Bartlett on setting PBs at the weekend. Lucy, Vicky and Lore improved their overall parkrun PB and Alex improved his QE course PB.
