Congratulations and well done to Ellie Davies and Vickie Hand on their PBs at Coventry and Markeaton respectively. We also had a few first-time appearances, with Luke Torpey and Daniel Metcalfe making the first appearances at Coventry, and Vicky Brewin experiencing warmer conditions at East Coast, Singapore. James Abrams finished 4th in his category for this race, described by the organisers as: 10 mile race features a challenging undulating course with wonderful scenery, great volunteer support and scenic views of Brereton village and Rugeley. Thanks to Kev Naughton for the following report, and well done on 1st place in your category! Sat 10/Feb…Morton Morrell Distance 10K Time: 45.53 Position 31st of 175 finishers (1st M60) A relatively flat course out through Ashorne with an incline at 6K, through Newbold Pacey with a further rise at 9K upto the finish. A further 70 completed another lap for the 20K Conditions on the day were cold and wet, raining throughout with little or no breeze.
