Bernard Blundell represented Sphinx AC in this tough endurance event, finishing third overall and first-in-category. The event was brimming with international athletes, experienced off-roaders and quite a few mums with prams. OK, actually it was quite a light-hearted affair, 5K around Ryton Pools raising money for charity. There are no official results but Bern finished third overall in just under 22:00 and was first veteran home.

Christmas 2010 timetable and events

As you know – Christmas is nearly here! So this is just a few lines on when and where training will take place and other events. As far as the training is concerned it is particularly important that those who are taking part in the County Championships on 8 January 2011 attend as many training sessions as possible. Junior training – all session start at 7.00 pm Mon 13 Dec Lyng Hall School – final session of 2010.
