Nine Sphinx AC runners ran today, with Ashley Miles taking first place overall, Lucy Smith taking first ladies place and Pete Thompson taking first MV40. If there had been a team prize, Sphinx would have won that too. Janine got a PB and Mitch knocked two minutes off last year’s result, so happy faces all round! There as no Coventry ParkRun this weekend due to the Godiva Festival. Two Sphinx AC runners made the journey over to Leamington ParkRun to satisfy their craving. Glowing reviews of the Sphinx AC Summer 5 and the cakes!

One thing is for sure – runners love cakes! We’ve received some great feedback from runners since the Sphinx AC Summer 5 – all of it praising the marshals and the organisation. Naturally, we’re very pleased to hear that kind of feedback as a lot of effort went into putting it all together. However, if one thing stands out more than anything else, it’s the consistent references to the cakes that we put on!
