Unfortunately Sphinx AC have taken the decision to cancel the ‘Sphinx Summer 5’ event for 2021.
The committee have agreed that the benefits are vastly outweighed by the risks, from both a financial and moral standpoint, especially when considering our use of a public park where spectatorship and social distancing simply aren’t manageable.
We will now be focusing our efforts on arranging our annual Coombe 8 event for later in the year, and ensuring it is a success for all involved. Details on this race will follow in due course.
