Wyken XC – A message of thanks from the Chairman
A big thank you and well done to everyone who helped in any way today or ran in the race (or both, Mitch!). As ever, we put on a great event – both in the organisation of the race (Bob) and providing the refreshments afterwards. Thanks to Laura, her mum, Lisa and daughters – hope you all enjoyed it. Thanks to Bob’s friends from Coventry Way for coming along to marshal, and Jo, Graham and Rose for their tea service.
Results for the Birm XC@Wyken Croft, 07-Feb-2015
Sphinx hosted the fourth and final race of the cross-country league season, and 12 Sphinx men ran.
Andrejs finished 3rd and Garry Barnes finished in the top 50. The A team placed 7th out of 14, and the B team placed 5th out of 6.

2014/15 Midland Women’s XC Division 2 Final Standings

Results for the Midlands Women’s XC@Wolverhampton, 07-Feb-2015
6 Sphinx ladies travelled to Wolverhampton for the fourth and final cross-country league race of the season. A good showing by all resulted in a 32nd place finish (including both divisions) for the senior team, and 25th place for the masters team.

Coventry parkrun celebrated its 5th birthday today – congratulations to Jason and team and a big thank you for putting on such a great weekly event.
At Coventry, Paul Slatford finished 4th overall, Andy Hales completed his 50th parkrun and there were PBs for Alex Bartlett and Lauren Wall. At Durham, Catherine Gough was 3rd lady with a new PB.
