Results for the Nottingham big swim, 27-Jul-2014
2 sphinx members entered this 5 km event at the Nottingham water sports centre.
The swim consisted of 1 lap of 2.5 km lap of lake then a small run to get back in lake to complete 2nd lap.

2 Sphinx teams guested in this relay of 3 x 3.2 miles. After a 7 minute handicap Ash still came back 1st and sphinx B Team came second over all.

Quad Kids Season
Over the last 3 months the under 12 juniors have taken part in a mini athletics series. Run on 3 separate tracks, Godiva, Pingles and Rugby they have competed against athletes from other clubs and against themselves to improve times run and distances thrown and jumped.

Atough 10km race with ~175m accumulated ascent (Nothbrook 10km is 100m in comparison!). Good times all round and Ash finished 6th overall and first in his category.
