First Timers everywhere as Sphinx AC runners/family/friends took in new parkruns. There were six first timers in total and 1 new PB.

Merry Christmas and 100 parkruns up for Laura Pibworth-Dolinski. Lauara also set a new course PB at Woodley.
There was a fine turnout at Coventry, with Tom Anstiss bagging a festive PB.
Elsewhere, Alex Bartlett took in Bushy parkrun for the first time.

Results for the Hook Norton Christmas Canter, 21-Dec-2014
Hook Norton Harriers’ annual winter race is a fancy dress filled, chilly, hilly mix of road and track over a 7 mile loop.
6 Sphinx runners completed the canter in fine style.
Results for Coventry parkrun, 20-Dec-2014
Coventrian, former world record holder for 5km and current UK 3km record-holder, David Moorcroft, got the Coventry Santa parkrun started yesterday. Three Sphinx runners (or relatives) were inspired to new PBs. Well done to Michael Gough, Ian Cunningham and Thomas Wilkinson.
The highest age-grade rating by a Sphinx runner was 71.39% by Robyn McSharry.
