11 Sphinx runners completed the first race of the Warwickshire Road Race League season.
31 Sphinx runners/family/friends ran yesterday, with 2 first-timers and 1 PB. Alex Bartlett was a first-timer at Bedfont Lakes, as was Monika Ciezarek at Conkers.
Well done to Imran Ali on improving their best time at Coventry.
6 Sphinx runners completed this 20 mile race, organised by Bedford Harriers.
Six sphinx runners made the early mourning trip down to the new forest to take part in this half marathon on the tracks and trails winding through the forest with a few hidden big hills to contend with.
29 Sphinx AC runners/family/friends ran this weekend, with 2 first-timers and 3 PBs. The Foxalls were first-timers at Southwark, and all 3 PBs were at Coventry – well done to Jonathan, Emma and Julie.
Dave Kelly completed this tough, off-road race, describing it as:
An absolute brute of an off-road run over the Cotswolds from Winchcombe, with over 2,200 feet of climbing
Ant and Vicki completed this half-marathon through rural Suffolk countryside, organised by Stowmarket Striders. Vicki achieved a PB time.
Well organised event ran in quite cool conditions. Course was very demanding with lots of steady climbs to contend with.
11 Sphinx runners completed the Ashby 20, with several good performances and Andy McIntosh first Sphinx past the line. The course itself was undulating with no killer hills but plenty of long inclines. Support and drinks stations were good.
