The day after. Some felt bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, some felt full-bellied and liver-failed, many felt somewhere in between.
At Coventry, Robyn McSharry notched up her 100th parkrun; Catherine Gough was first lady at Gadebridge; Darren Hallett was 3rd at Blandford, bagging a new course PB in the process; and Alex Bartlett continues on his road to full recovery – well done to all!

Took the opportunity to run this today with my daughter, Katie, her boyfriend, Tom Padgett and his father, Graham, as it is approximately the midpoint between their house in Nottingham and Coventry.
Only ran this PR once before, in the middle of summer, but definitely in my top 5.
One lap course, all on trail, so a bit soggy underfoot in places, especially through the trees, but very flat apart from one aptly named ‘Cheeky Little Hill’ (a marshall was actually holding up up a sign displaying this).
Proud to run with three ‘Couch to 5k’ participants (indeed Graham only started running (from scratch) in August) and looking forward to doing Colwick Park Run, Nottingham with them next Saturday.
