What better way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday. 13.5 miles of picturesque countryside along footpaths and trails, then through the stunning Bradgate Country Park where the deer come to meet you as you meander past the lake. Oh, and the food…. tea in china cups at the Village Hall to start, cakes and chocolate at the feeding stations en route , then tuck into a Ploughman’s at the end with yet more cake and all sorts of nicities and naughties. As Luke says, it was like being at his nan’s: “do you want any more cake dear? £15 well spent, good company and a great day out.
