9 Sphinx ladies and 7 Sphinx men represented the club at this year’s Midlands cross country championships at Newbold Comyn. Running 8km and 12km respectively. A new route was introduced that included part of the closed down golf course, while still taking a possible swim in the ditch, although it was not as swampy as previous races. Well done to everyone who took part in the race, with Sam making his xc club debut and the long awaited return to the mud for our own celebrity (Imran).
