Budapest Marathon and 30km run – October 2018 Last weekend 3 Sphinx runners with friends and family made the trip to Budapest to run in the Marathon and 30km event. After a few days of sightseeing in this interesting capital city the day of the run was soon with us. The course followed the banks of the river Danube with a few bridges to negotiate. The weather was unseasonably warm but pretty good for running and never too hot. Brian and Stuart ran in the Marathon and Steve ran in the 30km event which started at the 12km point of the marathon and finished in the same place as the marathon. An enjoyable event.
