Ladies Day at Banbury 5 Eleven Sphinx runners made the trip down the M40 to Banbury for the 5th of this year’s EMGP races. This 5-mile route is traditionally officially started by an officious official with an official gun in the middle of a very peaceful housing estate The first mile takes us through the streets before turning left up and out along the B4035 into the country. Then a steady climb until we eventually turn left past some quaint Cotswold stone houses into Broughton before a tough mile of undulating, rolling slopes.
