Results for Corby 5 (EMGP), 29-May-2013

12 Sphinx AC runners took part in the Corby 5, the 4th EMGP event of the series. The dreaded hill start and hill finish didn’t prevent Ashley Miles from recording his third consecutive 1st M40 placing in an impressive 27:48 (and 7th place overall on the night). Nor did it stop Laura Pibworth from knocking 3 minutes 5 seconds off her time from last year, around the same course, finishing in an excellent 43:18. Well done to Messers Naughton and Orme too, finishing 4th and 5th respectively in the M55 category. We now have a two-week break at the halfway stage of the competition, before resuming on 11th June at Banbury.
