25 Oct 08 – Birmingham League 1st Race at Sennelleys Park – Sphinx AC had a steady start to the cross-country season at Sennelleys Park. With a lot of the seniors away running marathons at Dublin, Snowdonia and Beachy Head it was left to the emerging youngsters to lead the team to a solid 9th place with Stuart Boon the first club finisher in a fine 11th postion followed by Jag Shergill in 16th place.and Matt Melia and Tom Delaney making their senior debuts in 44th and 69th place respectively.
