Sphinx AC were represented at a relatively small number of ParkRun events today, but there were a number of PBs and the return of a few familiar faces…
Coventry
25 Sphinx AC runners/family/friends ran this weekend, with no first-timers and 4 PBs. Our old friend, Lucy Smith, made her first appearance in a year and took first lady position with a cheeky PB to boot! The national XC championships in the afternoon meant that a number of our regular runners didn’t participate.
Conditions were dry and bright again but the course started as it did last week – on the path between the memorial itself and the Kenilworth Road gates. Unlike last week, there was virtually no wind, making conditions very favourable indeed.
Special mention goes to Darron Handley and Julie Thomson, making a very welcome return after some considerable time away (and making it look easy!)
