Results for the Woodhouse May Day Challenge, 05-May-2014

By Rob | May 5, 2014

12 Sphinx runners enjoyed fine weather, beautiful views and great food en route as we made our way through the sleepy Leicestershire countryside.

A little gem this one, 13.5 miles off-road, organised annually on May Day by the villagers of Woodhouse Eaves; they provided the location, the marshalls and all the (home-made) food at the end (hog roast, burgers, sandwiches, cake, more cake, even more cake….). With free tea and coffee (in china cups), as well as a technical t-shirt and chip-timing, this run has everything, with all proceeds going to the village itself.

Times totally irrelevant. A perfect way to spend a Bank Holiday!
