Mitch Timms and Ashley Miles represented Sphinx AC in this urban race in Derbyshire, with Ash taking first-in-category and Mitch taking second-in-category – a very nice morning’s work.

_Though not particularly scenic, the course was completely flat and conditions were perfect, with a nice early 9.45 a.m. start time.
A well-organised event, with some 360 entrants, and at least four different local clubs sporting blue and gold, so we received plenty of extra support en route.
Ash took the M40 prize, finishing 6th overall in a quality time of 35:20 and I surprisingly managed to come in as second M55 in a touch over 44 minutes.
