Four Sphinx AC runners infiltrated the first of this year’s Northbrook handicaps, which had to use an alternative venue due to road works on Brown’s Lane.
The run was at Coundon Park (3.25 miles, completely off-road) and conditions were abysmal – it was freezing cold, windy and raining.
Janine Miles and her dad (George Wilkinson) came along to support and take photos but it was too grim to get any decent shots. Tom Marchi was there too, but wisely decided give it miss as the conditions were that bad.
