A number of Sphinx AC runners made the trip up to Nottingham to race in the Midlands XC championships. Conditions were quite favourable – there had been no rain and there was no wind to contend with. The course had a few challenging uphill stretches, which were balanced by a nice, long, downhill straight to the finish.
