Results for Massey Runners’ Easter 5, 31-Mar-2013

Sixteen Sphinx AC runners ran this friendly, local race with four of our runners finishing in the top ten and Ashley Miles winning his category prize. Congratulations also to our new Ladies’ Captain (Joint), Fiona Quinn, who knocked almost two minutes off her 5-mile PB.

Conditions were dry and bright but a bit on the chilly side, especially when the wind picked up. Being at the Memorial Park, the race was an excellent event to attend as a spectator and it was easy to cheer on the runners. Massey Runners did themselves proud and organised a fantastic event, which included keeping the Sphinx happy by including a raffle afterwards!
