23 Sphinx AC and Saracens runners ran this weekend, with 1 first-timer and 3 PBs. Sphinx AC juniors triumphed today, with Catherine Gough winning the women’s race and Thomas Hopkins storming home in second place.
In a normal week, Thomas would have won the race outright but he was up against a real speed demon today (who recorded the fourth-fastest time ever for this course). SEE BELOW
Susan “I’m not fast” Gough clocked up ANOTHER PB, which means she’ll be finishing the race before she starts by Christmas.
Maggie Morgan and Justin Smith ably helped out in what was a record attendance, with 293 recorded finishers.
