13 Sphinx AC runners ran the third of this season’s 5-mile races. Ashley Miles was second overall and first-in-category. Conditions were dry and the headwind wasn’t particularly strong today, but a waterlogged course meant that we all looked as if we’d completed an XC run by the end of it. The most significant aspect of today’s event was that we had a raffle winner! Mitch won a bottle of wine, dispelling the myth that our raffle tickets are carefully disposed of before the draw!
