Ian Cunnigham is walking the Pennine Way solo – in aid of the Huntington’s Disease Association

By Rob | May 23, 2016

Ian has provided the following info:

I am walking the Pennine Way Solo – Camping all the way over two weeks starting 4th June 2016 to 18th June 2016.

Starting in Kirk Yeltham just in Scotland and finishing in Edale Derbyshire

In total 268 miles roughly 20 miles a day over roughed mountainous terrain.

I have decided to do this and raise money for Huntington’s Disease, as a very close family friend has the disease, and

over the years my wife and myself have seen her mother and brother die from the disease.

Huntingdon's disease is a deteriation of the central nervous system, causing the nervous system to breakdown, and

sufferers lose control of all the functions. It is a hereditary disease that gets passed on, and currently there is no

cure, so if you can please support this good cause.

You can do so by sponsoring me on virginmoneygiving.com Ian Cunningham – Pennine Way (http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/IANCUNNINGHAM5)

The Friend is the wife of Ex-Willenhall Boxer Gil Lewis who some of you may know.
